Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards Show

Our flagship event, the Texas Songwriters' Hall of Fame Awards Show brings songwriters who represent the spirit of Texas into the spotlight for a unique ceremony and intimate performance at the historic Paramount Theatre on Congress Avenue in Austin on March 7th, 2010. We bestow the appellation "Texas Heritage Songwriter" upon them and present them with an enduring award. This year's honorees are Clint Black, Mac Davis and Whitey Shafer, with a special performance by Lee Roy Parnell. The late Stephen Bruton will be honored with the Darrell K. Royal Patron Award. Doors open at 6:00PM, show begins at 7:00PM.

Bob Bullock Reception

Sponsors, Honorees and distinguished guests join past and present Texas Songwriters for a private gathering at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum on Saturday night, March 6, 2010, for cocktails, hors d'ouvres and a pickin' party with Grammy Award-winning songwriters Paul Overstreet, Dean Dillon and Scotty Emerick.
